Well I got my K10 and DA 300 back from Pentax the other day and have testing them out. Seem to be right on now.

what was up with the set up? Did you have F or BF issues. Just curious as I rented a DA300 with my K10 and found everything spot on.

Excellent news Ken! I really like the colors/exposure on the last image.

So are you now happy with the functionality?

Regards
Marc

Thanks to everyone for the complements. When I first got the DA300 I was haveing alot of back focusing and was very frustrated. Pentax wanted to see camera(K10) and lens. Don't know exactally what was wrong but I think more of the problem was the K10 which they fixed even tho the camera was out of warrenty--Thanks Pentax. The DA* 300 in an incredibale lens. I love the close focus on it as its almost like a 300mm macro, and as you can see it is sharp.
