Landscape Point Arena Lighthouse

Unfortunately I wasn't there for a spectacular sunset, but a clear day is not that common. This part of the coast is frequently fogged in, so I was happy to get an expansive view.

A wonderful view even if rarely seen, TFS.

Thanks Jerry. It is approximately halfway between Gualala and Mendocino. They used to have tours that take you up inside the lighthouse. I don't know if they are still doing it.

Beautiful shot! And, yes - they do still have tours: Lighthouse Tours - Point Arena Lighthouse Keepers, Inc. On my list to climb!

Thanks Jim! I climbed it many years ago, before my camera obsession. I need to do it again and get some shots.
