Take me to your leader
Camera: Ricoh GR Photo Location: Afsluitdijk, NL

Going over my backup drive, I decided to give this image a new twist. What it was, was a simple look straight up the staircase of the monument/viewpoint on the Afsluitdijk in the Netherlands. The monument was erected at the point where the Dutch closed off the Zuidersea to protect against deadly flooding in the 1930ies.

I converted the singe DNG with Darktable, mirrorred it with some straightening to ensure the pieces would fit properly and line up. Lastly I decided to use the "graphic novel" filter in GMIC to overlay some scifi-ish sauce.
