Calif wildfire claims Paramount Ranch "movie" town · **3 Likes**

I just read an article about this filming location burning down due to one of the California wildfires.

A partial list of films/movies includes the X-Files, Bonanza, Van Helsing, Westworld, Firefly, Island of Lost Souls (1932), The Girl Next Door, The Dukes of Hazzard, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, The Rifleman, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957), When Worlds Collide, Helter Skelter, and The Love Bug.

Fiberglass logs.

Thanks SpecialK for a glimpse of one movie ranch I never saw . Many movie ranches have been burned , built over and otherwise .

Too bad for this to burn - but quite honestly, better this than buildings housing human beings. I'm glad you had preserved this place "on film".
