Wonderful shot--I'm envious, here where I live it's difficult to see the tree(s) for the forest.

very nice composition! I can think of a couple of adjustments I would have tried with this one... (Highlights down a bit, a little more contrast, open the shadows...)
a black and white candidate, right from the start indeed!
very good work!

But actually in it is not in the very center! I put it a bit more to the right.
