Photokina Girls!

Who cares about new cameras and lenses. If you have a Pentax K20D with a FA 77mm Limited and Tamron 28-75/2.8 there are a a lot of opportunities to improve your portrait taking skills (I have zero experience taking portraits of unknown people, so please bear with me).

Of course, it also helped to have a Silver 77mm Ltd. When everyone is using a black camera with a black lens, it's easy to make eye contact if your lens is silver

Also, the lighting was challenging but I tried to correct this in PP. It did not always work out like I wanted, but at least I have tried

did you get to fire the flashes on the stand? Would love to be there.

No, because I haven't asked. So the K20D + FA 77 had to do the job

Nice control of lighting. I used to do the Tokyo auto shows and WB in those lighting conditions can be horrendous to manage...

The "resting Queen" is soooo BEAUTIFUL!!! and it's a great natural moment!

I also liked the ballet girls, that light and the compositions are sweet!
