I was ready to take a similar photo this summer, but then a guy with a dirt bike came roaring through and tore up the web {along the side of a trail}

Thank you! I find spiders to be pretty challenging. There always seems to be just enough breeze to move them all over the place on their webs creating a lot of out-of-focus shots.
