And so i got a special mood when the steam train arrived while the rain an mist dissapeared.

In Germany we call it "Eisenbahnromantik" but i found no english word for this and railroad romantic
sounds a bit simple to me. Any suggestions?

Greetings Andreas
I don't think you need to call it anything other than "Timeless Morning" or "Timeless Moment". This is a lovely - and timeless - photo.

Lovely pic with the perfect title. For some reason it reminds me of when I took the overnight from Frankfurt to Kiel being pulled by the same type of engine.

Thank you for the kind words.
I think greyscale kills the mood but curiosity shall be rewarded.
People associate B&W with "olde time feeling", but you were right to post the color version first. The image doesn't have enough tonal and texture variation, and thus the B&W version loses a lot of information and interest contained in the original version.

Either way, the image is wonderful. The color version reminds me of an old, faded color photo from WWII.
