Little birds give me a challenge that I am rarely able to handle.

2 very nice images, here is what I do for small birds: f:8 or even f:5.6, iso: 1600, that will give you shutter speeds of at least 1/2000 and that will improve overall sharpness a lot.

You are right about shutter speed being critical in making sharper images . Since this and too many other photos I have since caught on . Thanks for sending sir .
