Hi,

snowy day in the high and barren valleys of Dolpo in Nepal, shot at altitude around 5,200m.

Very nice image. I would like to trek in Nepal. It is on the bucket list for before I get too much older. Years ago I wanted to do the Ladakh crossing (Kashmir) but with some of the passes reaching over 15,000 feet I might be past that! Nepal is still possible.

It might be barren but the way you photographed it shows very well how the light reveals the different shades of brown. That with a very effective composition makes it an outstanding photo of a world that many of us can only dream of.

70% of people I saw on the Annapurna Circuit looked over 60. Highest point on that is 17880 feet.
