Some time ago I was given a Fujica ST901 with an EBC Fujinon 50mm f/1.4 lens on it, and finally tried it out. Without damaging the lens to keep the stop down pin depressed, I can only use the lens wide open. At about 1 m (3 ft) distance using my wife's embroidered creche figures, the depth of field is rather shallow. Focus by eye on screen on the head of the Magi behind the crib. Image converted without post processing from DNG. Av, ISO 400, f/1.4 (DUH)!, 1/50 second. Lighted by overhead and floor lamp 120v household bulbs.
