Two Laysan Albatross have reunited to mate and nest. This was taken on the westernmost point on Oahu called Kaena Point. We saw several nesting birds and many more nest sites were marked by Fish & Wildlife. The trails were roped off to keep people away from the nest sites.
So much for "roping off the area" Fish and Wildlife be damned....
It wasn't actually bad the way they did it. The paths were all open, they just roped them to prevent people from walking off trail and up to the birds.
