1st Wedding... before shots
Posted By: KrisK10D, 09-28-2008, 06:23 AM

Did a wedding shoot last month for a friend. Was a very unusual day to say the least.

Here's a few shots before the ceremony...

C&C always welcome. Learned that I need a new flash head. Will post more later

Thanks guys. Was kinda hoping for more feedback (been asked to do another wedding in Oct). Maybe the next series will get more C&C

Your ring shot is definitely surreal.

Since you're asking for C&C, I'll say that the first two are a little too close-in for my tastes- I'd back up just a little. The third shot kinda has a 'what's the subject?' feel to it- again, backing up a bit to show all the people around her might make it a little more effective. The fourth shot is a real money shot- great, great job.

But what do I know? If the bride likes them, then you've done good!

Thanks again folks. Funny you mention the 3rd shot Claw... I was hoping to get nothing but hair and hands in that one. Bride was very late and everyone was running around like a clutch of hens. It was rediculous

Very nice image of the rings Kris. When I shot my oldest son's wedding this past June, I almost took as many shots of his bride getting ready as I did the whole wedding. I was so pleased with how they came out.
