Some shots around southern New Brunswick
Posted By: maritimer, 09-28-2008, 06:43 AM

Despite the rainy weather this weekend, the wife and I headed out South towards Maine ( only a 3hr drive ) in my hopes to grab some nice scenic shots of our beautiful province. The first 2 are from Lepreau Falls. The second 2 are from around Dipper Harbour.
I'll do as I did before, just post the EXIF for each shot with the shots then posted below. Enjoy

shot #1 :: k10d · 40mm · ISO 100 @ 1/60 · F5.6

shot #2 :: k10d · 31mm · ISO 100 @ 1/6 · F13

shot #3 :: k10d · 50mm · ISO 100 @ 1/90 · F4

shot #4 :: k10d · 200mm · ISO 200 @ 1/125 · F5.6

Also, I confirmed that I need at least a 500mm, which you'll see why in the last shot. At least I know what my next purchase is going to be Thanks for looking

Nice series. Sometimes the worst weather can produce the best results.

Nice shots. Hope you have the time to get over to the Bay of Fundy in the morning. Could be some great sights with the storm coming in.

Funny you mention that, we've been actually waiting around all morning for this storm to hit. So far ( it's currently 2pm ) it's only started slightly raining = nothing really yet.

Saint John is right on the Bay of Fundy and there are numerous spots you can go and just sit and watch the ocean. The hard part will come later, when it does hit, as to which spot to go to

Thanks for the kind words guys, always appreciate it.
