But then, James made the comment about the artistic value and I had to agree there too. At which point I checked to see which sub-forum it was posted.

Me thinks the shadows add the drama but perhaps they're too strong. This was NOT a critique just a question for educational purposes. PLEASE no offence meant.

None taken! The shadows are indeed very harsh but I was going for exaggerated drama here. In fact, I would like to have made the light falloff a little more extreme, but moving the strobe closer messed with the rest of the image too much.

As for why posting it -- I just liked it.
