I think the dead care little if they sleep or rise again....

In loving memory of my son 7/15/1996 - 12/21/2018

I noticed taking the camera out and attempting to escape the heavy atmosphere of my house is therapeutic, even though I couldn't come up with anything better to shoot than the flowers on his fresh grave.

It's a lovely (and very touching) photograph. My condolences for your terrible loss and I wish you lots of healing grace.

Sorry for your loss and I feel your pan. We lost our youngest son two years ago this month. Doing things helps you go forward.

Many of my photos are of flowers on the grave of my husband. In the beginning...I was just filling in the time and empty space in my life with an activity. Now I have years of these pictures and I am glad I have them. Flowers are great subject matter and the effort is good medicine for a broken heart.

My deepest sympathy to you. Hang in there.

A lovely and appropriate tribute. 22 years is too soon - my sympathies to you and your family.

I'm so sorry for your terrible loss.

Time does not heal, but one day you will discover that you can breath again, and it will be another day when you will feel you can live again. Keep shooting. Anything. Photography helped me to survive when I lost my husband. My cameras were my only friends around for a while who did not leave me. I hope it will help you too.
