Was at the Vasa Museum in Stockholm yesterday, and tried the SMC Pentax-A 28mm F2.0 lens on my K-1 with pixel shift for the very first time. It’s the same lens design as the Hollywood lens but with auto aperture feature. I consider myself very amateur when it comes to photography, but after seeing the results, the photo put a smile on my face. I shot the image in RAW as well as JPG. The image is literally straight from the camera without any PP. There seems to be not much info about the lens online. I figured I post some shots taken with the lens. You can take a look at full JPEG files straight from the camera by clicking on the flicker links below. I've also attached the links for RAW versions as well. I tried to capture the perfectly displayed Swedish art of ship making - and it had this amazing goth feel to it. Let me know what you guys think.

This is a very nice photo.

You were using the lens at f/14, which means that you would get past any issues with the lens {which would show up at the wider openings, such as f/2 or even f/4.

And yes reh321, that’s what I intended exactly when shooting at f14; to avoid issues when the lens is wide open. That’s why it took 150 seconds to complete the shooting process with pixel shift for each photo

I would love to see the Vasa - yes, I'm familiar with its story, due to my job (and thanks to Bjarne Stroustrup - the creator of the C++ programming language).
I hope you don't mind me quoting him:
"We often remind ourselves of the good ship Vasa. It was to be the pride of the Swedish navy and was built to be the biggest and most beautiful battleship ever. Unfortunately, to accommodate enough statues and guns it underwent major redesigns and extension during construction. The result was that it only made it half way across Stockholm harbor before a gust of wind blew it over and it sank killing about 50 people. It has been raised and you can now see it in a museum in Stockholm. It is a beauty to behold - far more
beautiful at the time than its unextended first design and far more beautiful today than if it had suffered the usual fate of a 17th century battle ship -- but that is no consolation to its designer, builders, and intended users."
