A Little Lady Bug
Lens: DFA 100mm Macro w/HD1.4x Teleconverter Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Granite Bay, CA ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/800s Aperture: F7.1

I find that I can't get close enough to focus and shoot without them flying off, but this one was cooperative. However this is cropped some.

Nice photo Todd , but we who photograph critters experience challenges . My brother and I were a menu item for a variety of green ladybugs in Idaho . Getting rid of the blasted critters was all I could think of .

Thanks pichaser! I can relate to being on the menu of little critturs. I grew up in MT and worked one summer outside of Gillette, WY. Deer Flies and Horse Flies were there in abundance and sometimes it seemed there were enough of them around me to just pick me up and fly me away
