I believe it is an orchid and my expertise stops there! (You probably knew that too There are a lot of hybrid orchids bred for the enthusiasts so ID is not easy.) Nice shot though.

Thanks very much for the information. I had no idea what this flower is, however I do see some resemblance to an Orchid. Should be interesting to research it and see what comes of it. Glad you liked the photo.

Okay, I finally reached an expert. This is a cross between a Miltonia & Brassia, making a very pretty Orchid Hybrid.
