First outing with my new lens
Lens: Pentax HD D FA 24-70mm F2.8ED SDM WR Camera: Pentax K1 Photo Location: Davenport ISO: 500 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F3.5

This is just 1 example of my initial outing with my new HD D FA 24-70 F2.8ED WR lens. For some reason, even when I resize the photo, my pics get stomped on quite a bit and do not retain their quality when uploaded here. B&H had this on sale for $450 off list price. It was a deal I couldn't refuse. I needed this focal range and was waiting to get this when it dipped low enough. I am totally thrilled with this lens and will be using it quite often.

If you would like to see the pics the way they look before they get compressed take a look at my Dropbox file... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/q0va0l2cvgwe6po/AABArye4CYe17HHIDMbbVbbfa?dl=0

Great shot, James; a like the tones of the colors and the composition is terrific. Looks like you've got this lens down pat.

Thank you Jer. I appreciate that. I should throw my Dropbox link in so you can see the difference.

This a nice image, as for loosing resolution by posting it here: I looked at the image on drop box, the image is smaller than the one here, it is lighter and has different WB. the size of the image on drop box is 1.06 MB, the image here is 103.57 kb. which is probably low enough to suffer from .jpg degradation. Just my thoughts,

Take care,
