I previously posted a photo of a reproduction of a log house as it existed back when Fort Roberdeau was in existence. Reh321 wanted to see a pic of the fort itself. Here's one of the outside of the stockade, the big barn(it took a lot of mules to haul lead and one of several Native American Wigwams that are scattered in the woods behind the Fort.

Thank you! The first photo is the sort of view I was hoping you have. I would hate to defend this kind of fort, with a flat short wall and no moat ..... but these natural materials make a lovely sight at this time of year.
