Poggio Covili sunrise, Tuscany
Lens: Leica APO-Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm Camera: Leica SL ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/8s Aperture: F11

A serene and spectacular sunrise at Poggio Covili, created during a Workshop One-on-One I led in Tuscany (Italy) in November 2017. Leica SL, Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280 and the wonderful Formatt Hitech Filters.

A lovely photograph. I cropped the bottom quarter of the photo and to my eye gives it a different 'look'. Either way...original or bottom quarter cropped...an excellent photo.

Thank you very much, I am glad you enjoyed it! I see your point with the crop, however, personally I much prefer it "anchored" to the lower bottom of the frame... personal preference and all, I guess.

Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it! I'd rather think that preparation had some part in it, you know, going at a particular time of the year and such - but I'll take luck any day...

Thank you very much everyone for your kind comments, I am glad you enjoyed it! I was just in Tuscany last week leading a One-on-One, but no fog this time... sadly. I am looking forward to my April's Workshop, generally that time of the year works great for fog at sunrise
