Good shot, and this one is a male - - one black dot on each wing. The females have two dots on each wing.

Thanks! I tried to get a shot of another species of butterfly yesterday, but it wouldn't stop long enough to get focus lock.

Thank you! Now that it's spring again, I'll have to go back to the Botanic Gardens and see if they butterflies have returned!
