Nice pic! I grew up on a farm milking 75 head of Jerseys. Now I live in Central Pennsylvania where dairy is the main industry.....so I can relate

There are dairy herds in Tasmania, of over 500 cows.

Sorry for the obscure reference. I love your photo and it made me think of the old PC game Diablo in which a rumor started that if you clicked on the cow outside your home village in a certain way your character would be teleported to the “secret cow level.” It wasn’t true at first but the developers created one for the sequel. When you materialized you were in the middle of a herd of cows. Of course, those cow were hostile and armed with battle axes but your picture brought back fond memories of playing D2 with my sons. Pleasant to me in way unexpected to you.

I love how the long lens compresses the landscape and accentuates the height differences. Perfect setting for this photo full of cows!
