Trying out ACDSee... has anyone used it much? So far I'm pretty impressed with it.

Cool shot, Jerry. I've never heard of the software much less used it. I'll check it out.

ACDsee has been around a long time, almost as long as Jer. LOL I've never used it either, especially for processing photos, maybe it's improved over the years, but it wasn't all that good when it was first introduced in the late 90s.

Yes, Jer, it is. For a while it was only available if you bought it. I guess they decided people didn't want to pay for it so they decided to give it away.

I've used ACDSeePro since at least 8 years, currently ACDSee Ultimate 2018. Very capable for RAW development and IMO excellent catalog features.

When it was first introduced, it was one of those softwares, where it was loved or hated. There was no Pro version when it was first introduced, that I recall, it was just called ACDsee.

However, if you like the way this photo turned out, that's all that matters, Jerry.

Thanks to all for comments and feedback. I used to use acdsee back in the 2000's when I got my first digital camera. It's grown up a lot since then!

I used it when I first got into photography (maybe 10 years ago), and it was OK, but got tired of it quickly.
