Shells and a brick in a dry sea
Lens: Samyang 24mm Camera: K-1 Photo Location: Wierum, the Netherlands ISO: 100 Aperture: F9
Posted By: Fries, 02-04-2019, 04:27 PM

Went out on the dry seabed at low tide near the small coastal town of Wierum. It is a very special environment; there are places along the coast where you would sink away in the mud trying to do this.

Cheers,

Remco

1. Sea shells in the foreground. The church tower of Wierum just behind the seawall.

2. A lonely brick far away from the coast is one of the indicators that lots of land has eroded away.

These are very nice shots. I agree with Bengan, I really like the second one with the brick and fantastic cloud reflection.

Thanks Bengan! Sometimes you have a favorite but somehow you know the 'other' shot appeals to more people. The first shot was most popular on social media. I am glad you picked out the second one!

The clouds and reflections are especially nice on the second one.
