I came home from work this afternoon to find the first daffodils blooming in my front yard so I decided it was a perfect opportunity to test my newly acquired Takumar-F Zoom 28-80's macro function. Light was fading fast, so I just took a few quick snaps and this was the best of the lot. I plan to play with it more this weekend.

I could be critical but tonight I am relishing 3° F with 20 mph winds. We will get daffodils shortly after our foot of snow melts, soon enough.

I've got a few more daffodils in bloom today. We also had a little rain, which can make for some interesting images. All in all, I think I'm getting the hang of this lens a little better. Manual focus works best in macro mode.
