K100D-Tamron 28-300 and Water Polo
Posted By: jsundin, 02-27-2007, 10:43 PM

Here are a few shots I took with my K100D and Tamron 28-300 (non-DI) lens. The lighting is not great, so I went with ISO3200. I used Tv mode at 1/125 and lived with it from there. There is no PP on these. So, anyone can do indoor sports and stay within a budget! Enjoy.

Hey, these are nice! I like the Tamron 28-300, very convenient and I like the results I get. The colors are nice in this, and the ISO3200 doesn't look that bad. Did you run any noise correction after the fact?

No PP on these yet. I keep telling myself I need to learn Noise reduction and PSE 5 and other software, but I find myself too busy having fun with the camera. Also, I went with auto white balence in the pool area. Amazingly, it worked well.

I agree that the 28-300 is a handy lens. It is my favorite out of sheer convenience. Thanks for your comments.
