Magnificent Saguaro found on the 8 mile loop of Saguaro Nat'l Park, Eastern Tier. Photographed with the DA 12-24 mm f/4 ED AL lens on a Pentax K3. Early morning light is always flattering for desert landscapes.

Wonderful photograph with excellent angle which not as easy as one might think. I am interested in knowing how you managed to darken the blue sky. Did you use a CPL or ND Filter? Whatever you used, it works very well. Thnx Tony.

Thanks for your kind words. I used a CPL for this picture but I rarely have to filter my images. Digital photography plus a little tweaking is often enough to get dramatically blue skies.

Beautiful sight.
Even without use of filters, I've found that desert sky can be impressive.
