2017 Eclipse Re-do
Lens: DA*300 Camera: K70 Photo Location: N GA
Posted By: shiner, 03-08-2019, 03:04 AM

I learned some new things to try with Rawtherapee for the pixel shift images I shot during the 2017 total eclipse (plus lots of tweaking in PS and camera raw), and this is my first new effort. The prominences are far better defined now. K-70 + DA*300 + HD DA 1.4x

Thanks! Since I started trying to get meteor images (because I could with digital), I've seen probably hundreds more meteors than in the entire rest of my life

I applied Topaz Gigapixel AI to this image @ 2x (because this software is my new toy), and it improved the texture while removing some slight banding.
