He is a good looking boy. He already poses well! Nothing like a willing subject that can't talk back

What do you expect with a photographer as a stand in Father...

Well I certainly can't argue with that.

He's a Blue Merle Paterpoo, Mother was a Bronze Patterdale Terrier called Gin (hence his name, the whole litter were named after various Gins), Father was Nortnewydd Merlot at Glendream, a Blue Merle Miniature Poodle (from American Imported bloodlines), size will be about 15 to 18 inches at the withers.

He's a beautiful dog and I'm sure is a wonderful addition to your family. I'm not familiar with the Patterdale Terrier, I'll have to check it out.

We haven't had dogs for a number of years. Quite awhile ago we had a small Terrier-poodle mix, he was only about 7 1/2 pounds but he had an outsize personality and we also had a Pharaoh Hound...a lovely personality she had and boy could she run quickly.

Our daughter and her husband now have a dog from Northern Canada. He's part Siberian Husky, part Greyhound and part other dogs I'm sure . He is a sled dog type. Very powerful, fast, lot's of endurance...and a lot of fun. Smart too, keeps me hopping.

A nice looking pup, though a terrier with a strong prey drive (like my Airedale here in the States) always has the potential to be a bit of a rodeo...too bad y'all don't have any skunks.

The Patterdale was originally primarily bred as a fox, rabbit and vermin hunter, bolting and killing its quarry, the modern Patterdale is often utilised in guarding flocks from foxes and other predators, whilst being a versatile working dog about the farmstead.

The Poodle bit is thrown for good looks and intelligence.

Definitely a good model. Typically when our cats see I have my camera out, they just close their eyes and go back to sleep.

Did I mention before "Aye for wee treats... he'd sell his soul", think I might have done.

The cats expect treats when they want them - not as payment for services rendered to a servant.

That's a fine pup and model. I'll look forward to seeing him grow up here.
