2nd shot for me, love the colour saturation and strong lines of the trees.

Cool stuff.

Very nice shots... Do what I do, shoot the game and *then* shoot the pics once you've got the venison (or whatever) taken care of...

Jimbo,
That shot of the two tree trunks and yellow leaves is very pleasing to my eye. I guess it's scientifically as well as naturally pretty, what with the trunks splitting the frame into thirds, and the complementary blues and yellows... Forgive me if I'm deconstructing your image, it's a compliment, honestly!

Here is one I took today, a common puffball in a wood by my town. This kind of thing typifies autumn to me - all earthy hues. A time of decay, but also one of beauty.
K10D, Cosinon 50mm f/1.8 M42 + 8mm extension tube.

I really like the first one Jimbo, what's that black dot in the picture, is it an animal or something on your sensor?

Its a crow Gary.. Didn't notice it until after the PP work or I would have taken it out as it was too far away to even know what it was! Thansk for commenting. JIMBO

I like them both, the first has such a peaceful mood, the second shows the clearness of the crisp autumn sky very nicely, IMO!
