"When She Gets There She Knows"
Posted By: Kerrowdown, 03-24-2019, 10:09 AM

"If the stores are all closed, with a word she can get what she came for"

Folk of a certain age will keep up with me on this post... for the rest there's Google.

I just like the clean simplicity of this image.

Outstanding - thought-provoking minimalism! There's mystery in the bright and colorful photo - mystery you normally expect from noir B&W shots. You 'da man!

Being the Philistine that I am, my first thought (about your post) was "who is Dave Hockney?" Thanks to Mr. Google, I am now more educated. In November 2018, it sold for US$90.3 million, the highest price ever paid at auction for a work by a living artist. No disrespect to Mr. Hockney (and if he was able to keep a proper share of that $90 million, he doesn't need my respect!), but shouldn't Kerrowdown's even more realistic (and thought provoking) photograph be worth more than $90 million?

Thank you for that, I will forward a PM with my PayPal details for that larger payment sum.

And other ages too. There's a reason this song is banned in musician shops. :P

Ahh but, shouldn't those glittery handrails be gold and not stainless steel?!
