Very nice photographs It makes me want to visit the area again. I grew up not far from Yosemite, back in the days of the Fire Falls off of Glacier Point - circa 1955-60. THAT was something to see! An enormous bonfire actually shoved off the cliff by a bulldozer and left to fall to the rocks below. It was a fire "waterfall." Imagine THAT! There were no forest fires that I remember as a result of those activities.

Regardless of the crowds, it still remains one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. If you haven't seen it in person, no photographs, regardless of how good, will convey it's unbelievable grandeur.
