Landscape Early spring

Took a nice walk in the neighborhood park to check out the new, heavy snow before it melted away. Spring is close, but winter is holding on. I have been looking for a repeatable shot for the four seasons near home, and this could be it. We'll see if I remember when spring comes for real and in the summer. Thanks for checking it out.

Nice photo. I agree with your winter analysis. After a brief flirtation with early gardening, and encountering frozen mulch at the surface today, winter is still hanging on.

This is a lovely scene - whether by itself or joined by others later. I had to download it to convince myself it really is RGB - contrast to the colors of later Spring or Summer should be really spectacular.
