Originally posted by joelbolden The Red Mo(Red Moshannon) downriver race is the longest running river race in Pennsylvania. On the last Saturday in March, over 200 boats compete on the Class II+, 7.5 mile stretch of the creek that runs from Grass Flats to the Rt. 53 Bridge in a remote section of the Mountains of Central Pennsylvania. Canoes, Kayaks, SUP's, Inflatables etc each have a different class, which is divided into various sub-classes etc. I position myself at the last Rapids, Known as Twin Rocks, before the finish line. I love running this water, but I'm not much on crowds, so I act as the unofficial photographer for the race. This year I took 890 photos and edited that down to 489 that I posted on the Race website. It's a great race, and a lot of fun for everyone. This one was blessed by 66(F) temps and reasonably high water. Used my K70 and PZ-1P; these are from the K-70.
Certainly looks like an exciting time was had by all.
