Originally posted by RGlasel Are there restrictions on the size of lens you can bring into the park? Did you have any problems with security?
Yes, there is security, you pass through metal detectors and there are restrictions on what you can carry in and how it can be carried. Those vary depending on the locale.
I had no problem with security because I knew the rules and did not violate them. the Royals actually had a wooden box to measure the bags to make sure those entering did not violate the maximum size requirements of the carry bag.
I use a transparent plastic bag which closed with a zipper which I picked up years ago to go to an NFL game
" Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12." (Official NFL team logo clear plastic tote bags will be available through club merchandise outlets or at nflshop.com/allclear), or One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar). "

I had two garbage bags as well in a jacket pocket. You need to protect the items within your bag from liquids if you store the bag under your seat while at the game

will the announced restrictions be enforced ????? Do you want to risk it ?
*******************as far as I know there is no area to check personal property at the gates so if you can't take it in you must find somewhere to store the item outside the stadium. if your vehicle is not available, you are in trouble. *******************************
