Pentax K-3 II Mounted With Zhongyi Mitakon 85MM F2 (Blue Bird in Flight)
Lens: Zhongyi Mitakon 85MM F2 Photo Location: Porter, IN ISO: 4000 Shutter Speed: 1/4000s Aperture: F2

I used the Sv mode instead of manual to allow some exposure automation. However, I wrongfully set the camera iso 4000 which changed my shutter speed to 1/4000 (only needed about 1/1600). I couldve had a cleaner image had my iso been approximately 2000.

I see what you are saying. I am not a lover of Noise/Grain either, but you still managed a very nice photograph. Thanks for posting.

Thanks. My biggest criticism of the K-3 II is the noise at relatively low iso.

With theater and studio performances I'm normally at ISO 3200 on my pair of K3IIs. Its hasn't been an issue, even with large prints.

I shoot DNG, have ACR settings where I want and rely on the default settings of Imaginomic Noisware. I discovered Noiseware about 10 years ago when I inadvertently photographed my first children's session with a K10D at ISO 1600. They still have a 16x20 print from that. It was a lesson.

And the lighting can make a huge difference.
