I recently acquired a Pentax Kp: my trusted K-5 started to be quirky randomly (well, that's what quirky is, isn't it?) I paid the full price for the body, but the shop - probably all Pentax-selling shops in Europe? - had an action: I got a free HD Pentax-DA 1:4-5.8 55-300mm ED WR lens with the body. I am not a very huge fan of zoom lenses, and I prefer manual focus, but I did not reject the gift... Here some random test shots, all in our garden or house, or through the windows of the house... All hand-held, and some with rather dim light.... Not the best conditions for tests, I admit, but still,,,,

I use the same lens mostly for competitive swim meets, it likes bright sunlight. :-)
