Not going to get much better resolution of a bif. Being a contrarian, I dont believe everything I hear about the Sony 1 inch sensor not being capable. The image doesn't lie, and remember how small the bird is and he's moving about 20 feet per second. I use the electronic shutter to preserve the mechanical shutter. So if I shot with the mechanical shutter there's still some room to improve the resolution of the posted shot.
