Sunrise pics with the Kit Lens II

I was stuck driving for my wife to go to a couple early yard sales yesterday morning. While driving to one of them I saw this scene of the sun coming up with early morning mist. Shot with the Pentax 18-55 II. It is a nice little light lens that I can actually hold steady....and surprises me on the quality of shots it produces....

I think more sky, plus the peeker sol, makes the second one.

I too was surprised at this lenses,as for being a kit lenses this is a understatement it performs admiringly

I like the 2nd better, just shame that the sun isn't visible on the right side of the "thingy" rather than on the left side...

I usually carry my 18-55 and DA 50-300 for connivence and ease. Both do a good job.

I thought the same thing while looking at them after the fact on the monitor...damn I should of walked to the right and got the sun on the right too....I did it for the left. The thingy is silo. This farm has 2.

I am always up early for work...so weekends it is good for early morning pictures....
