A break in the clouds
Lens: SMC Pentax-DA* 300mm F4 ED [IF] SDM Camera: Pentax K-1 Photo Location: Loch Lomond, Scotland ISO: 125 Shutter Speed: 1/2500s Aperture: F4

Not really a landscape lens...but great for picking out interesting scenes.

Shows very well that a long lens can be a fine instrument for landscape photography! It compresses a landscape is such a way that the scale of the landscape becomes apparent. Every year when I travel to Norway I take this lens with me.

Thanks for commenting Fries...I get why you'd take it with you in Norway...as I'll be revisiting that part of the world myself, fairly soon.
