Very striking photo.

My first thought was that I wish there were more pixels on the fort - but on the other hand, this view shows how isolated the fort is.

Very nice shot. The fort certainly looks exposed to the elements, and the clouds emphasize that very well.

It was quite popular. According to this wiki-page: "In total, 34 foreign versions have broadcast around the world since 1990."
