Jolly in the Golden Hour
Lens: Pentax-DA 18-135mm Camera: K-50 Photo Location: Idaho ISO: 6400 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F8

This is Jolly, a Queensland Heeler that belongs to a friend of mine. She was resting on a sofa in his garage with the setting sun bathing her. Normally, I wouldn't use an ISO this high, but I was having to shoot hand-held and wanted the highest shutter speed I could manage. All things considered, I thought it came out alright.

Those dogs are amazingly attentive! Nothing..... NOTHING gets past them! But, I'm preaching to the choir.... your dog is a Queensland, isn't it?

Wonderful capture. Nothing to dislike about it. Very sharp and I really like that pensive look she has. Thanks for posting.

I once was owned by a Jack Russell / Australian Shepherd cross that was the most amazing animal I've ever seen. Sadly, I lost him to a mountain lion when I lived high up in the Rockies.
