Thanks for the positive comments . Sometimes birds land in the best places . I used a monopod which is my sop when using my big lens and worn out body .

Very nice! I would crop a little further to the left so the post isn't so close to the edge of the crop - if it's possible.

My first idea was to eliminate the post but it does give some hint of scale . Your suggestion is certainly a good one .
