Nice work Frank, I like the way the DOF works on the right hand side on the wall.

You hit that one out of the park XS400 ! Excellent capture. I love the skin detail and as Damn Brit said the DOF on the right hand side is powerful and supportive. What was the light source (heat lamp, halogen lamp)? Did you alter the camera's WB (say to tungsten) or did you have it on AWB and let the camera decide. Very curious because the tonal colour range is fabulous. I can not imagine a better mix of colours (that inviting green with that warm brown range) - very earthy, but definitely not muddy.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Glad you liked the picture. This is one of those occasions where I took about 6 shots and one came out the way I hoped.

I think the light source was a tungsten lamp, but I am not positive. For the white balance, I had the camera set on AWB. There were many types of light in the aquarium, so I let the camera make the WB decision for me. This pic was shot RAW, but I didn't adjust the temperature (WB) when I did the post processing.

Wow this came out beautiful Frank. I assume you were shooting through glass here too? You've got that down I'd say!
