A couple of Snowy Egrets in breeding plumage were feeding in a small stream that flows into the ocean at the beach in Santa Barbara.

What a wonderful catch, Todd. These two are on the march!! A delightful photo that should be in a nature magazine.

Thanks Jer! I happened to be at the right place at the right time and was able to capture many photos of these birds.

Thank you Janse! I was so happy that I decided to bring my DA*60-250 on the airplane to Santa Barbara. It produces great results.

Snowy egrets are great subjects especially in early morning light .

Yes they are! They are very entertaining birds to watch and particularly pretty in their breeding plumage.

This is a prime example of why I'm trying to get the money together to get a copy of the DA*60-250mm. Excellent image!

Thanks Apet-Sure! Yes, it is an excellent lens, and it works quite well with the HD1.4x teleconverter which gives you a very good 350mm telephoto.
