Thank you JMR,
Almost fell into the rushing stream leaning back with that fisheye to take that! All that Spanish moss waving in the wind. Very disorienting. The Native Americans called it "iti shumo", or "tree-beards."---Jeff

Knob Creek is the name of a Whiskey (I wish I had some the cold day I took these pictures), but it also seemed like a fitting name for this eerie swampy location with it's impressive cypress knees. My beautiful wife whose hair is dark, donned a reddish blonde wig for the shoot. The wind was blowing briskly.
I would've never attempted a photosession here in warm weather. Way too many poisonous snakes and spiders!
These are straight shots. That's a mirror in front of her face in the second picture. These were inspired by, and owe a lot to the great photographer Clarence John Laughlin. Please google him.

If they don't load it's the fault of an overloaded photobucket. Please try later.

Halloween is coming.
These last two would look great as B&W or selective color...

Steve, I will try that. I should convert original files to b&w more often to see what's what. I love B&W.

That site gives me the creeps. What a great location for this type of photoshoot; it really does capture an evocative mood.
