The streets of Kabukicho have changed in the last ten years. Where once there were lots of massage parlours, soaplands and hostess bars, now there's more nightclubs, bars and yes, the hostess bars are still there, but there's host bars as well (like Club Drop) and a lot of other entertainment. Hostess bars have girls who fawn on the customers, while host bars have boys who do the same - for a price, of course. It's not sexual, but it's still expensive, and don't expect the rates to be negotiable.
