This bee was very cooperative. He was collecting pollen from an onion blossom.

Man O' Man, what a gorgeous photograph. Very sharp, colorful, interesting and exposure is direct on target. Thanks for sharing, Dewey.

So sharp, and with a 50 no less. Usually when I'm that close they bug out.

Nice one Dewman! I just bought an FA 50mm f2.8 macro from KEH and it is in transit. I am happy to see such good results and hope I can get as good.

Todd, I think you'll be more than pleased! It's a SUPERB lens. Once you get used to it, you'll want the FA-100mm too! Looking forward to seeing some of your work with the 50mm.

Thanks for the feedback on the lens. I can't wait to get started...another day or two and it should be in my hands.

That is a great close-up and sharp photo.

Maybe honeybees are becoming resurgent. I have seen quite a few in this forum in 2019. And, I have seen quite a few on my chives flowers. (Should make interesting honey). We usually do not see many in our gardens. Actually, chives flowers smell good.
